TRISH’S FAVE DRINK: G&T

Peej and Trish had a pretty loose idea of what they wanted their wedding suite to look like. They wanted it playful and maximalist but still tasteful and elegant. More importantly, they wanted it very personal—which is great, as this is the kind of work I love doing for wedding clients.

Learning more about the couple is always integral to my design process when it comes to weddings. From their favourite memories together to creating playlists that fit the wedding’s ideal vibe—my process truly involves a high level of personalization.

PEEJ’S FAVE DRINK: OLD FASHIONED

The couple specifically requested to work with a bold, slab serif font. Because we weren’t too happy with monogram studies using the same font, I created a custom ampersand for them instead using thin, clean lines. This juxtaposition guided the rest of the creative direction moving forward.

We put together some custom icons and patterns and followed a sectioned-off layout style to convey that sense of playful elegance that the couple was looking for.

Aside from their digital and printed invitation suites, we worked on printed menus, signages, misalettes, etcetera.

The couple liked the wedding logo so much they had it embroidered onto some personal belongings.

We also made fun Instagram story frames for guests to use throughout the event.
